    Bass busters

    The flat worm max scent is the BEST bait I have found for drop shotting, period.

    Different colors work better than others from location to location, water clarity, forage base, etc. but I’ve always been able to find the right one no matter were I’m fishing!

    More Than a Drop Shot Bait

    I remember watching Mark Daniels Jr win his first MLF event using a Flat Worm catching smallies in the Dakotas. After that it seemed guys were using them to win every event. I went down to Cabelas and got some and took them out on The Mississippi River in Wisconsin. I was impressed. I caught smallmouth, largemouth, walleyes and Saugerties drop shotting them on rip rap and wingdams. Since then I have used them on shakey heads and micro finesse jigs. I even caught fish using them Texas rigged. When fish move shallow in the spring, I use them on a Texas rig with the lightest sinker I can find. Sometimes I use Sebile Soft Weights and rig them weedless with a weight on the shank of the hook. That way the worm flutters on the fall instead of going down nose first. If you only use them on a drop shot, you are missing out.

    magic bass worms

    I really love these on a drop shot setup, and the largemouth bass like them also. There's good action with the tail and they must love the taste because the smaller guys take the tail right off. Caught several bass when nothing else would.
