    Killed the redfish..

I loved the Gilly Pinfish and knew this mullet would be a winner too when I saw them online. I couldn’t find them in stores so I picked up a few here. I don’t rig mine the conventional method, but instead put a spring in the nose, a small piece of leader wire through the top cavity and put a small worm weight on the bottom belly. I then fill the cavity with either pinfish or mullet procure, run a circle or khale hook through the nose as if rigging a live bait. Throw out and reel in twitching the rod tip making the tail pulse and kill it every so often. The nose hook, bottom weight allows you to burn it in, kill it and it falls naturally, or simply slow roll it. They work phenomenal below a popping cork too.

These are my GO-TO baits. I’d rate them more stars if that was available. The red caught on the mullet style Gillydine was 40” and my first outing using it. I have many others on the pinfish too.
