It appears that the standard use for this bait is with a jig head. That option is not very good for fishing in thick weeds. I could carefully rig a jig head to be used like a plastic work hook but that option reduces hookups. So there is an opportunity for coming up with a better type of hook. That would drastically increase the fishing options as well as reduce the number of fish that get hooked.
