    Lee Smith, of Niceville, Fla., caught a redfish and speckled sea trout that measured a combined 61.75 inches in length to win the IFA Kayak Fishing Tour Presented by Hobie Fishing event on March 27 in Destin, Fla. The event, which operated out of Legendary Marina, was the regular-season opener for the IFA Kayak Tour’s Gulf Division.

The St. Louis, Mo., native weighed in 45-pounds, 15-ounces of fish during the event at Lewisville Lake, Texas. The B.A.S.S. veteran cashed a $10,000 check for the win, a new Skeeter/Yamaha boat/motor package and earned a trip to the 2012 Bassmaster Classic to be held in Shreveport, La.
